First Post..

Hello everyone.. This is my first post. and I just wanted to say hi.

The Art.....

Art is mystical, in the way that it has so much resemblance to mankind in every aspect. It is magical, in the way that it defies the laws we place on everything else around us. It defies society, politics, imagery, and attitude. The only thing art cannot defy is faith, beit that it is in itself, a testiment of faith. Faith in something even if that something is nothing. It is defined by faith. Yet we are artwork ourselves like our own creations...and we are defined by our faith aswell.

Scripture is my biggest inspiration. Yet the reason I truly enjoy painting, is the fact that I do not believe art can be graded. In the same sense that people can not be weighed in worth, nor can art be judged correctly. It is only perspective that creates a filing system for expression.

Attitude and intention express the content of a painting. This is why I use caligraphy often, so that the intention will be difficult to misinterpret. All else is attitude, and attitude is what inspires.

The other common question that arrises is why I use the "dripping" effect in nearly all my paintings. It is the way I express movement.
